Furniture
The furniture collection is primarily French country, Italian and some American and Asian. We are eclectic, offering you a wide range of pieces for both country and more formal settings. We travel extensively and reguarly send full containers back to Le Barn.

Armoires - Welcome to our collection of armoires and tall corner cupboards. The French armoires add a major impact to your room, giving the ambience of elegance and history. Wonderful warm woods with inlays and carved panelled doors add a richness to the pieces. Some of the Provencal pieces are painted in warm hues of french blue, soft yellow, and subtle greys. We also have country pieces with chicken wire on the doors, perfect for country kitchens. |

Bureaus - Welcome to our collectoin of bureaus from around the world. We have traditional mahogony, maple, and inlaid bureaus as well as fun painted pieces from Itlay, England and thet U.S. Some have whimsical designs and glazes. |

Cabinets - Welcome to our collection of cabinets, appropriate both for a country setting or a more formal home. We have bookcases and storage cabinets, painted pieces from Provence, American painted cupboards for bedrooms, baths, or kitchens, and glass front vitrines from France and Italy in which to display your treasures. |

Desks - We have a collection of writing tables, some with leather insets, painted desks, and wonderful wood pieces. |

Painted Items - We host a wide selection of painted furniture from large armoires, hutches, display cabinets, desks, writing tables to small cabinets, trunks, and bureaus. Both European and American pieces are painted with flowers, scenes, and aged glazes. |

Seating - We have chairs, benches,sofas of all shapes and sizes; French rush seated chairs, bergeres, salon groupings of sofa and chairs, side chairs in pairs, desk chairs, and dining chairs. Benches-backless or with backs, all sizes and shapes of benches to sit on or use as coffee tables. Some are great at the end of beds or under long windows. Some are all wood or have upholstery seats. We have scalloped backs with either rush seats or upholster seats - scan through the different types. |

Sideboards & Buffets - The French buffet is the most versatile piece of furniture, part of everyones' family room or dining room. Rich in character and wonderful woods, families have been using these from generation to generation. Some are all wood, some are marble topped, some with inlay and impressive hardware. |

Tables - Welcome to our large collectoin of tables. We have many end tables, side tables, coffee tables, and dining tables. Our French farm tables make wonderful dining tables and desks with warm woods and old patinas. |

Trunks - A collection of old trunks and chests await your discovery. Some are flat topped, making great coffee tables or seats; Aand others are curved, being graceful at the end of beds or in halls. Vanities - Originating in Europe, the vanity was used in bedrooms as a washstand or in a bath area. Today they make wonderful powder room stands for the great sink vessels, or bedside tables. Some have marble tops, some are painted, and some are all wood. |
