Jerry Bisceglia, Artist
Jerry began his art training in grammar school. During high school, college and the Army, he designed theater stage and won an award for “Carousel”. Art training included Pratt Institute, The Famous Artist School, and The Cape Cod School of Art. He shared many plein-air workshops at Taos, Provincetown Tubac, and Province with teachers Lois Griffel, Charles Sovek, and Cedrik Egeli. Jerry is a member of many local artist guilds where he shows his paintings. He has been awarded First Awards with Stamford Art Association, Darien Art School, and Bedford Art show which features his landscape paintings on their pastoral and invitations. His medium is oil, his technique mostly color and spontaneous brush strokes. He has been influenced by Impressionism and loves the variety of the nature and landscape; but also enjoys painting live models and figures. Jerry is also a pastoral counselor, which is so vividly apparent in the individual spirit he manages in each person and scene.
